Dividend rate and annual percentage yield (APY) are subject to change daily at the discretion of the Board of Directors.
A $1 fee is assessed if the account balance is below $25.00 on the statement cut-off date.
FAT CAT and Zard Group Term Life Insurance is offered through SECU Life Insurance Company. SECU Life Insurance Company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of State Employees’ Credit Union. Life Insurance is not guaranteed by, a deposit of, or an obligation of any credit union and is not insured by NCUA or any other federal government agency. Insurance representatives are licensed to sell in North Carolina only.
There is no minimum balance required to open a Zard Checking account or earn the stated dividend rate. Once the account is open, sufficient funds must be maintained in the account to cover the $1 monthly maintenance fee and other authorized charges (e.g., debits, checks ordered, stop payments placed, etc.).
No overdraft transfer fees assessed the first two days of each calendar year on which an Overdraft Transfer Service fee would otherwise be incurred on an account. If your Overdraft Fee Free Days have been exhausted, your checking account will incur a $0.50 fee for each transfer.
