Visa® Credit Card Balance Transfer

Transfer your high interest credit card balances from other institutions to your SECU Visa credit card.^1,2

In the App

Sign in to Member Access via the SECU App. Under the Self-Service menu, select “Manage cards” to request your transfer.

Online

Sign in to Member Access; under the Self-Service menu, select “Manage cards” to request your transfer.

In person

Visit your local branch to request a transfer in person.

Interest begins to accrue on Balance Transfers from the day the funds are added to the daily balance and continues to accrue until the total amount owed is paid. You can avoid paying interest on Balance Transfers made in the current billing cycle if you pay the entire New Balance for the prior billing cycle by the Payment Due Date in the current billing cycle.
Balance Transfers made under an introductory or promotional Annual Percentage Rate (APR) will be subject to a balance transfer fee of 3% of the amount of each transfer or $5, whichever is greater.
